Grade 0 Visit to SciEnza
On Friday 21 November the Grade 0 students went on a science adventure to SciEnza. Here the girls did a workshop on static electricity, getting the wings of their butterflies to move. The girls were amazed at what they could explore in the main museum area and couldn’t wait to move onto the next exhibit from a floating ball, mirror maze and bodyless flowers. They sat on a seat of nails, balls and rods to compare the feeling, and tried their hand at some tricky puzzle building. The highlight of the morning was a show using liquid nitrogen – the scientist presenting the show disappeared in a cloud of smoke!
