Day of Discovery 2026 — what a night!
On Thursday 28 May, St Mary’s DSG hosted its annual Day of Discovery career expo, and the energy in the school was electric. 39 incredible professionals gave up their Thursday evening to invest in the futures of our girls. From a Spacesuit Designer and UN Representative to a Spine Surgeon, Electronic Warfare Engineer, Weather Forecaster, Conservation Ecologist and Novelist.
Across three sessions, our Grade 8 to 12 learners had the rare opportunity to sit with real professionals, ask real questions, and leave with a broader, braver picture of what their futures could look like.
To every presenter who shared your story, thank you. You reminded our girls that careers are not just job titles; they are journeys worth pursuing with curiosity and courage.
