Junior School Family Night 2026

On Saturday, 1 August, the Junior School came together for our much-anticipated Family Movie Night, transforming an ordinary winter evening into a memorable celebration of family, friendship and community spirit. T

At the heart of the evening were our incredible Grade 7 students, who took on the challenge of selling snacks and refreshments as part of their fund-raising community project. The students have shown initiative, teamwork, creativity and responsibility. More than simply fundraising, the evening became a wonderful real-life opportunity for them to develop valuable entrepreneurial and leadership skills.

Every ticket, purchase and contribution helped us extend our Generosity of Spirit beyond the school community. All proceeds from the evening will support Irene Homes, Jo Seoka Early Childhood Development Centre and Padisago Primary School in Soshanguve.

A heartfelt thank you goes to every family who braved the cold, supported our Grade 7 girls and helped make the evening such a success.

And perhaps that is the real magic of a St Mary’s evening: when we gather, we create memories and when we give together, we create impact.
