Shakespeare Day 2026
With excitement, and a hint of nervousness at the novelty of being surrounded by so many boys, our Grade 8s enjoyed a memorable morning with the Form 1 boys from St Alban’s College on Thursday 26 March. Kayla Mkandawira welcomed everyone with an inspiring speech about Shakespeare’s enduring influence on English language and literature.
This was followed by Ticket to the Moon’s ‘Sawubona Shakespeare’, an entertaining introduction to William Shakespeare’s world and works, both poetic and dramatic.
After a short break and enjoyment of snack packs, the matric leaders from both schools led outdoor games which brought the morning to a close with fun and laughter.
