Boarder Leader Camp

The Grade 12 boarder leaders recently attended a transformative leadership camp at the Konka Family Adventure Resort. This camp provided an invaluable opportunity for our students to grow, refine their leadership skills, and build lasting connections with their peers.

Throughout the camp, the girls participated in a variety of engaging and challenging activities, including wall climbing, kayaking, hiking, and an obstacle course. These activities were designed to push them out of their comfort zones, encouraging teamwork, dedication, and self-reflection. It was inspiring to see our boarder leaders rise to the occasion, demonstrating resilience, collaboration, and a commitment to personal growth.

Our students honed their abilities in teamwork, communication, and problem-solving, all of which are critical for effective leadership. They were challenged to confront obstacles, both individually and as a group, which helped build their self-confidence and strengthened their leadership capabilities.

As boarder leaders, these young women play a vital role in guiding and inspiring their peers within the boarding house. The skills and experiences gained at the camp will undoubtedly enhance their ability to lead with empathy, responsibility, and resilience. We are confident that the lessons learned will not only benefit them personally but will also have a positive impact on the broader boarder community.

We are incredibly proud of our Grade 12 boarder leaders and the way they embraced this opportunity for growth. The camp has left them better equipped to face future challenges and to continue cultivating the next generation of leaders within our boarding house.

We look forward to seeing how they will apply their newfound skills and insights in the months ahead
