Grade 7 Cape Town Tour

- Mrs Erin McGee

Our Grade 7 girls recently returned from an unforgettable tour to the beautiful city of Cape Town. From standing at the dramatic cliffs of Cape Point to watching the famous African penguins waddle along the shore at Boulders Beach, every moment was filled with discovery and wonder. The trip also offered powerful learning experiences. The girls explored the remarkable story of the world’s first heart transplant at the Christiaan Barnard Heart Museum and reflected on South Africa’s history during a moving visit to Robben Island. Marine life came to life at the Two Oceans Aquarium, while the Simon's Town Naval Museum offered fascinating insights into our country’s naval heritage. Filled with laughter, learning, and lasting memories, the tour was truly a highlight of the Grade 7 year.
