Grade 0 Nativity Play ‘A Starry Night’
On 7 November, our Grade 0s took to the stage to tell the story of Jesus’ birth. A pair of Whoops-a-Daisy Angels were asked to deliver a message, but they got lost in Bethlehem, in Africa! With the ‘help’ of the wild animals, some Umalusi and their cows, they were redirected to the biblical Bethlehem where Jesus had been born in the stable. The Angels called the shepherds and their sheep to worship him, and the Wise Men followed the star that hung above the stable that Mary and Joseph sheltered in that night. Our wonderful narrators wove the story together well, and each girl took great pride in saying her words clearly and loudly so that everyone could hear. What a wonderful way to start our festive season!
