Life Sciences Quiz
We are pleased to report that the Life Sciences Quiz 2025, hosted by St Mary’s DSG, was a tremendous success. The event brought together enthusiastic learners and passionate educators from various schools in a celebration of scientific curiosity, critical thinking, and collaborative learning.
The quiz featured five engaging rounds covering a broad range of Life Sciences topics:
- Practical Laboratory Skills
- Life and Living
- Ecology
- Human Anatomy
- Evolution
Each round consisted of 18 questions, 15 grade-specific and 3 open bonus questions. Teams collaborated using a single device to answer questions in real time. The format encouraged teamwork, strategic thinking, and lively participation.
Team Structure:
Each participating school was invited to enter up to two teams, with each team comprising students from Grades 8 to 12. All teams demonstrated excellent preparation, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship throughout the event.

We are proud to announce the following achievements:
1st Place: Woodhill College
2nd Place: St Mary’s DSG
3rd Place: St Alban’s College
All students in the top three teams received certificates of achievement. The winning team from Woodhill College was awarded the prestigious Floating Trophy.
