Grade 12 Alumnae Connect

- Mrs Carol Stedall

On Saturday 11th July the Alumnae Association and the 2026 Ambassador Team welcomed members of the Class of 2026 and a group of our Alumnae to Connect Café in the PAC at the School for a morning of networking, mentoring and inspiration.

Olive (Pilane) Ndebele (1998) created the program for the morning and she and her panel consisting of Kgomotso Moalusi (1998), Dineo Maboe-Khambule (2003) and Mamogale Monnakgotla (1989) ensured that both our matrics and alumnae were provided with plenty of food for thought.

The proceedings began with a welcome and opening prayer from Tiffany van Tonder (2001) our Alumnae Association Chair and a scrumptious tea.

This event provided a unique and meaningful opportunity for Alumnae to give back by sharing real world experiences and diverse paths to success with our matrics. The day was all about building community, fostering connections and inspiring the next generation.

Alumnae serve as a powerful example and role model for students navigating their own journeys. Through engaging activities like “speed dating” style conversations and student-led topic discussions, doors were opened, perspectives expanded and ideas sparked about what’s possible after high school. The day closed with a delicious lunch and more socialising.

This event is more than just a day – it’s about building and sustaining a supportive Alumnae network that empowers students, boosts alumnae engagement and sets the foundation for future success. It is an opportunity to shape the future together.
