Cosmic Frequencies: A Journey Across the Galaxy

Our Grade 5 and 6 girls brought term 2 to a spectacular finish with their Drama Evening, Cosmic Frequencies, on 31 July. The production provided a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the girls’ creativity, talent and hard work before heading into the August holidays.

Cosmic Frequencies took audiences on an immersive journey through five extraordinary planets, each with its own unique characters, talents and innovations. Through drama, music, dance and movement, the girls explored themes of creativity, courage and the power of working together. The unusual theatre setup, with the audience seated around the performance space and a runway extending through the centre, brought everyone directly into the action. Audience participation was an important part of the experience, with cheers, applause and energy helping to bring the Cosmic Festival to life.

From the enchanted world of Floranova and the futuristic city of Voltaris to the magical Lunaris, vibrant Rhythmia and fiery Magmatron, each world showcased the girls’ enthusiasm and imagination. As the story unfolded, the planets discovered that their differences could become their greatest strength when they worked together to restore the Cosmic Crystal. After weeks of dedicated rehearsals, the girls’ confidence and commitment shone through in every performance. Congratulations to the Grade 5 and 6 girls for bringing their extraterrestrial ideas and the entire galaxy to life!
