Staff Transitions: A Time of Welcome

We warmly welcome our new staff members and wish them a long, fulfilling, and happy tenure within our school community.

Senior School Psychologist

We are pleased to announce that Masego Morobane will be joining our team at the Centre for Growth as our new Senior School Educational Psychologist. Ms Morobane comes highly recommended and brings extensive experience in both girls’ and boys’ school environments. She currently serves as the Educational Psychologist at St David’s Marist Inanda and has also contributed her expertise as a member of the IEB panel for Accommodations.

Her experience, insight, and dedication to student well-being will undoubtedly add tremendous value to our team, and we look forward to the positive impact she will have within our school community.

Director of Advancement

Taking up the role of Director of Advancement will be Bronwyn Fynn, who joined our team earlier this year to begin an extensive handover process for the portfolio.

Mrs Fynn brings with her a wealth of experience in marketing, fundraising, and sponsorship. Her professional background includes serving as Marketing Director for Volvo Cars, working with the Independent Newspaper group, and contributing to foundations associated with a prestigious independent boys’ school in KwaZulu-Natal.

Her experience and expertise position her well to continue strengthening and expanding our advancement initiatives, and we are excited about the energy and leadership she brings to the role.

Director of Boarding

We are delighted to announce that Ms Olga Mahlangu will be taking up the role of Director of Boarding.

Some in our community will remember Ms Mahlangu as a former member of staff, and we are thrilled to welcome her back. She is well acquainted with the ethos and values of our school and brings with her extensive experience in boarding leadership. Ms Mahlangu currently holds the role of Head of Boarding at St Andrew’s School for Girls. She is highly regarded within her current community, and while her departure will be felt there, we are fortunate that she has chosen to return to our school.

We are confident that our boarding community will continue to flourish under Ms Mahlangu’s leadership, while also building on the strong foundation established by Ms Jiyane.

Head of Security

We are pleased to announce the appointment of our new Head of Security Ms Amanda Jonathan, who joins our school community at a time when safety and wellbeing are highlighted as a strategic initiative of the school. With a strong background in security management and a commitment to proactive, people-centred approaches, she brings valuable expertise to this important role. A KZN native, boasts over 25 years of distinguished service in policing, forensic investigations, security and having worked in child safeguarding. Pioneering as the only female in KZN and first female Regional Head in South Africa in the Security Operations Management, she commands respect in the security sector.

Personal Assistant to Head of Senior School

We are delighted to warmly welcome our newly appointed Personal Assistant to the Head of Senior School Ms Chere Pienaar.She is a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with over 25 years of experience spanning hospitality, recruitment, and educational administration. Proven track record in managing turnkey projects, complex executive diaries, and multi-disciplinary teams. A passionate, integrity-driven leader who excels in stakeholder engagement, financial administration, and operational excellence.

We are excited to have her as part of our team and look forward to the meaningful contribution she will make. We wish her every success and happiness in her new role.
