A Testament to the Power of Community

We proudly announce that the first-ever Giving Day at St Mary's DSG, Pretoria, has been an extraordinary success, raising over R2.3 million through the generosity of more than 1,000 donors. From heartfelt R10 gifts by our youngest learners to leadership contributions of R50,000, this remarkable achievement reflects our community's deep commitment, unity, and generosity.

More than a fundraising initiative, Giving Day was a celebration of shared purpose and collective impact. It brought together families, staff, alumnae, students, and friends of the school in a powerful demonstration of what is possible when we rally behind a common cause.

At the core of this success lies one of our most cherished values: generosity of spirit. This spirit inspired hundreds to give joyfully and selflessly, reinforcing our belief that every gift, regardless of size, can transform lives.

At St Mary's DSG, we believe that education is not just a school's responsibility, but a shared endeavour between the institution and society. Giving Day was a powerful reminder that investing in girls' education is an investment in a brighter, more equitable future for all.
