Human Rights Day Celebration in the Junior School

The Junior School celebrated Human Rights Day (21 March) with a powerful assembly. The Transformation, Diversity, and Inclusion students, guided by their teacher, shared an impactful message about the Sharpeville massacre of 1960, where people bravely protested against pass laws. We were reminded of our rights and responsibilities.

To commemorate the day, the girls received special pin badges with the message "Unite to Ignite" to wear on their blazers or dresses. A week before, students decorated stones with inspiring words representing Human Rights, which were then placed around the trees they planted last year. What a special way to celebrate this important day!
