Grade 3 & 4 Drama Evening: Lost in Time

- Mrs Hildegard Joseph

Our Grade 3 and 4 girls transported audiences on an unforgettable journey through the ages in this year’s Drama Evening, “Lost in Time”. Through a captivating blend of drama, instrumental performances, dance, and nostalgic songs from different eras, the girls brought history, imagination, and timeless life lessons to life on stage. The production explored themes of teamwork, kindness, courage, individuality, and making wise choices, reminding us that while times may change, strong values endure.

From prehistoric communities and royal courts to the vibrant disco era and a futuristic world, each scene showcased the girls’ enthusiasm, confidence, and remarkable talents. Their commitment and joy shone through in every performance, creating a truly memorable evening for all who attended. We are immensely proud of the girls for their hard work and dedication, and for delivering a production with a meaningful message: some lessons, like good character, compassion, and human connection, truly stand the test of time.

A production of this scale is never the work of the performers alone. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated teachers who invested countless hours behind the scenes, guiding, encouraging, rehearsing, organising, and inspiring the girls every step of the way. We are equally grateful to our parents, whose support with costumes, rehearsals, makeup, and encouragement helped bring the production to life. Their partnership and commitment played an invaluable role in making Lost in Time such a resounding success and a wonderful celebration of our girls’ talents.
