Community News: Mrs Thea Jenkins

Mrs Thea Jenkins, our Senior School Laboratory Manager, is an intrepid Birder and has been on a “chase” many a time to capture that elusive bird to add to the list of bird species photographed and logged.

Recently, Thea reached another birding milestone and it’s a biggie…Thea managed to see her 850th species in Southern Africa when she connected with the mega WHITE-THROATED BEE-EATER in the KZN Midlands. That’s a massive milestone to have reached and a top-class bird to have reached it with as well.
